Birds of The Resy #2

After Birds of the Resy a couple of days ago we returned with the hope of finding a Brambling in amongst all those finches. They're not that common in the UK, but not that uncommon either. Only a winter visitor the RSPB estimates their winter population can vary between 45,000 and 1,800,000. I've actually never taken a digital photo of one, our only sighting being of one that turned up in our garden quite a few years ago.

So here's the best of what we saw today, from top left to bottom right we have:

Bullfinch (Male & Female)
Chaffinch (Female)
Brambling

Thanks again Breagh, check them out in Large.
