Women Sing for Public Funding

My walk to the bus home was accompanied by choral singing this evening, the source of which became clear as I crossed Bradford's Centenary Square.

I have no idea who this group is, but their sentiment is very clear as they sing out against public spending cuts, but with a positive message 'for public spending,' from the steps of the City Hall.

The statue of a young Queen Victoria looking down on them provides a thought provoking juxtaposition.
