A remarkably clear head this morning after last night's festivities - helped by a rare lie-in! Also, another cracking day today overall - the odd cloudy period and a southerly breeze but still warm at 23C and mostly sunny. Managed to pick up my sister's birthday present which I'll post next week then walked home via the waterfront.

Wellington has quite a lot of public art and I've been meaning to blip some of these poetry blocks for sometime but just hadn't - until now. This one is right at the waterfront opposite Frank Kitts Park and in the background is the harbour to the Overseas Terminal, the yachts of Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club, Oriential Bay and Roseneath. Lovely....
