Thursday 24 February 2011: More snow?

Well, it was a day to make you think of Spring, wasn't it? So I thought I'd blip a snowflake in case we're suffering from withdrawal symptoms.

It is properly called Leucojum vernum, the spring-flowering snowflake, a bit bigger, greener and more delicate than snowdrops.

Preferable to the cold stuff anyway.
