Loch Turret and Choinneachain Hill

Initially had a walk up Glen Almond from Newton Bridge where there was a lot of water in the River Almond and not many birds around. We did see Red Kite, Buzzard and a few blue tits, but back at the car we had the most unusual sight of a bat flying around in broad daylight. We tried to get a photo, but apart from a couple of blurry images, nothing - they fly fast and seem to change direction rather randomly.

Next we drove up Glen Turret to the Hydro Electric Dam where today's photo was taken and on the way back down the glen RCB improved on his Glen Almond photos by finding a further Red Kite patrolling in Glen Turret.
