A Damp Day

Spent most of the morning sorting yesterday's photos. As expected there was no Surf Scoter so we're left with Mrs L's fairly dire digiscope, but a grand excuse to go back. I let RCB have a little fun with his posting of a Velvet Scoter.

Went for a blip wander in the afternoon, in a mixture of sunshine and showers. There's a footpath by the Tay that goes from the railway bridge to Willowgate Trout & Salmon Fishery & Cafe that I thought was worth an explore and so it proved with Willowgate a fine example of regeneration of an area that used to be just wasteland.

I've done you an HDR of the fine views there were of the cliffs on Kinnoull Hill and rather unusually RCB found a Red-breasted Merganser on the Tay.
