Sunday 27 February 2011: Cliff Top Bird Watching
Beautiful spring day here and I spent some time out the cliff tops at Duncansby Head -the furtherest NE you can go on the UK mainland. The Fulmars seemed to be all paired up on their nesting ledges and some of them were enjoying swirling about on the air currents in the sunshine.
You can just see the tip of Duncansby Head Lighthouse in the top right.
