Sunday 27 February 2011: Foxeh!
Bit of a 'meh' day - just sitting down at the computer to pick out one of the bird photos from this morning (was likely to be Gull Eye) when this young chap appeared at the back door. Definitely young, and curious. It's the same fox that was chased from the garden by Isla yesterday, whereas tonight she was asleep on the back of the sofa, giving him free range. Anyway, had the camera at the computer and was just in the process of taking the memory card out, so it was shoved back in, the ISO was cranked up (it was getting dark), the shutter cranked down. Noisy, but there's some 'personality' to it.
He wandered off to sit cutely in the neighbour's garden.
Had been planning (and still intending) on trying to get a shot of the International Space Station through the telescope when it passes across the sky just after 7 (saw it last night, it moves pretty quickly (about 17,000mph to be precise...) but I might get lucky).
Sigh. Monday tomorrow. At least it's a four day week with a trip to Amsterdam at the end of it. And I'm hoping to have a job offer to consider in a couple of days.
