Frome Festival - Day 4

Hassel Smith was an American Abstract Impressionist, who lived in the nearby village of Rode from 1981 until his death in 2007. This is the first exhibition of his work since his death and is being held in the The Silk Mill Studios (named for its original use, hence the glazed roof) which provide an amazing exhibition space. The Silk Mill is still being renovated and the intention is that the whole building will eventually become an Arts Centre.

This is a much more sensible blip than the last two days!!
