Chess

This evening Cyclops and I joined DrC and her dad DrJ (actually I think MrJ) for dinner and a show at the Playhouse.

We saw Chess, notable for its songs One night in Bangkok and I know him so well. I love that one in particular, we used to like it at school and I rediscovered it last year when I went to see Barbara Dickson in concert with my M&D.

The show was pretty good, nice set and dancing. The sound was a bit out (in the first half especially) so it was slightly hard to follow at first.

Yesterday DrC and I went to a preview of Ben Affleck's new film The Town. I'm recommending it, I enjoyed it. It was nice for me because a) Ben Affleck was looking very well with his top off and b) It had a great action sequence set in the Boston Red Sox baseball ground Fenway Park which I visited last year when Cyclops lived nearby.
