Beautiful engagement ring

Not mine though! This is my friend G's ring and very beautiful it is too. She is a lucky lady and her fiancé is a lucky man.

Had a quick visit from my parents this morning. We didn't know they were coming, apparently they were in the area and wanted to see their wee grandson! After they left I continued getting ready for my day/night out in Stirling.

My friend G is moving to Dubai next Tuesday she has a great new job over there and is looking forward to her new life. So today was a girly drinking/eating afternoon and evening. We will all miss her dearly but wish her well too. G has also very kindly asked me to be her cheif bridesmaid. This will be no easy task as G will only be home twice during the next year before her wedding!!

Many drinks were consumed tonight and a lovely meal was had at The Filling Station. I got the train there and back. I quite like getting the train to Stirling, nice short journey and relaxing! There were a few drunks on the last train home but everyone was jolly. Got home at 12.40am not so good when we have Water Babies at 9am!!!
