PEARLY QUEEN or KING

This is Pearl, or NWHU 2011 B7325, here in the Yorkshire Dales on a little holiday. We have read that if a racing pigeon is tired but is fed and watered, it will probably just fly off home again when it has recovered. Pearl seems perfectly at home in the Dales, though we believe she should be somewhere near Wigan, or perhaps she just prefers our bird seed.

Messages have been left with NWHU HQ but there has been no response yet.

Trouble is, our local Sparrowhawk is a big grey mean-machine and busy feeding young at the moment, and Pearl stands out like a Persil advert!
