Buzz

Another scorcher, 29 deg here today.  We didn't take to the bikes, excellent decision.

The bees were buzzing on the lavenders but I really didn't have much luck.....if you take a peek at the extra that pretty much sums up my 10 minutes among the lavenders.

Scored myself a pair of $289 pair of jeans for no payment. 
Let me explain...... Last autumn I bought a pair of jeans to get me through the winter as the others were looking rather tired.  Much to my surprise and delight I got a phone call to tell me my name had been picked to receive as a gift a particular brand of jeans (NYDJ - which is short for Not Your Daughters Jeans).  Very expensive and I'd never spend that much on jeans ever!  

Very happy.

This afternoon, because of the heat, I have made a start on editing 200 odd images my daughter Janelle has sent down.  She is making a photo book for her son and wanted them tidied up.  Big job and this is just year one.....he now is coming on 8 years.  Gulp!!!!

Started my Christmas shopping today too - iconic Buzzy Bee for our wee Lexi in Townsville.  Had a Facetime just before, she is in the pool with her Dad, was kicking like a pro!  Aidan said the water temperature was 29 deg, it sure looked inviting.
