Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Spooked

The snow drifts on the moor are still largely intact, mainly against the field boundaries and in the lanes. They're firm enough to bear the weight of an intrepid blipper though (as @earthdreamer has explained in a much more enaging way), and standing on one afforded a better view of the Highland cattle than usual. The cattle were being a bit frisky today, I think because someone was walking with a dog in the next field; that's what's got the attention of the two looking in the other direction.

In the field behind the Lapwings have started to arrive. A sign of spring that will hopefully be followed by a few more in the days and weeks ahead.

The main event of the day though was the arrival of Blipbear and Kiwi, who both look like they need a rest after a few days triathlon training with @yearofhappy. As they've already been blipped today I'll save their appearance here until tomorrow, although I've started a Blipbear album in my blipfolio, just to show that they're in good hands for the next few days.
