Today's the day ........................... to watch a film

Went to see The Great Gatsby this evening at the Brewery Arts Centre.

All the revues I had heard were not particularly good - but they were all by people who knew the book well. I'd never read the book so I didn't have any pre-conceived opinions to spoil.

So - what did I think? Well, the actors were all good and the costumes and sets were wonderful. It must have cost millions to make. As for the plot - well, there didn't really seem to be much of one.

Perhaps I'll need to go and read the book ...................
