Saturday 6 December 2008: Snow leopard
Shot at Zoo Lights at the Calgary Zoo. The animals are not out at night, it's just lights. One point five million of them. They make for nice pictures, but I still prefer to see animals, so I'll go back by daylight some time.
I tried a low-tech technique on this picture: breathing on the lens to create a foggy look. It's not as good as real fog though, because it causes blooming everywhere and does not depend on depth. But in this case it works quite nicely.
Not much postprocessing going on.
