Danger

Busy day at work. New gear to install (more UPS), more to arrive tomorrow probably. Further strengthening our infrastructure. A disaster makes you think a little more about it ... Then the remainder of the day researching for a client, some of it involved watching ski videos, nice ;-)

Then I thought I'd check the bike tracks again, I need to get riding. Nope, still closed, and I suspect for a while yet. Low priority when there are still people trapped under buildings.

The big news tonight, they reckon that 10 000 homes will have to be demolished and many areas of the city won't be rebuilt on again. Interesting times ahead, I reckon quite a few people might chose to move on.

The good news is however, our earthquake risk now has probably never been lower. Bugger moving to somewhere else where it?s now far more likely. Better to stay here!
