Dunmore Park

A smashing day walking around Airth and some its finest ruins with Andy and Brian (not to forgetting Euan, Calum, Alex, Ewan and Ellen). The sun was out and I was laden with gear and, for most of the walk, Ellen so I trudged around like a donkey. But it was a grand walk with plenty of photo opportunities, though Dunmore Park is like a small slice of blip heaven. It's a huge mansion from the people who brought you the Pineapple. The level of dereliction isn't very obvious here but it has no roof and almost all of the internal timber and much of the structure is either damaged, collapsed or demolished. Anyway, something like an etching. Perhaps you'd like to see some of my other etchings?

Back to Andy's for soup and more chat before heading home. I think the Central Scotland branch has just been kicked off.

Looks rather good with an extension to the East Wing.
