Captured

I found this insect caught in a web as this morning's fog lifted. I have not been able to identify it. Although it looks very similar to the native giant ichneumonid, this one had a body length of only 10mm. The tail was another 10mm long. You can see the three parts of the tail- two are hanging down and one is curved up to the wing.

Edit:Mollyblobs has identified this insect as a mayfly (Ephemeroptera). It is not an ichneumon wasp as I thought. Thank you Mollyblobs.
