Shabby Chic

Shabby Chic. A 'Shabby Chic' photo shoot of a very good friend of mine. A very very pregnant good friend of mine. Today I volunteered her for an outdoor photo shoot. A photo shoot with a fedora. I had a vision and luckily the rain paused momentarily for a quick shoot.

We had a little 'photography' play date today. Blippers / Photographers. And yes, we definitely talked shop. A lot. And I know that each of us felt inspired by one another. 'My Everyday' and my girlfriend pictured here are the professionals in the group so it was cool sitting down together and learning a little bit more about the business side of things.

When we got outside, I said to 'My Everyday', "Oh my gosh, go get your camera". She looked at me, smiled and then unzipped her jacket. Of course she had her camera with her. What was I thinking?!! That was a funny moment. We blippers ALWAYS have our camera. Rain or shine.

And it was so much fun shooting pics side by side. Photographing the same subject but knowing that we would produce different results based on our own photography styles. My other good friend here today had forgotten her camera by her front door in the rush of getting everyone and everything loaded for the day, otherwise she would have been right there snapping pics with us.

Thanks to all of you girls today for such a cool and laid back afternoon. Easy conversation. And always a lot of laughs. And to my very very pregnant friend, I predict that you will be in labor in........21 hours. Or less. Yeah, I'm going for less. (She gave us three jumping poses today that would have put a non pregnant person into labor).
