And the band played on...

Headed out at lunch for some blippings at a park near where I work.

The local school has just came out, it was to damp and muddy to show the park in any sort of good way. Also the tree's and plants are still ignoring the call of spring, and looked a bit bland.

Say's a lot about the park that the best shots were of a broken statue, a ruined house and this.

This being the old band stand that is in the middle of the park. I fear the days of brass bands playing here are long gone. Judging by the broken buckfast bottles strewn about the place, I'd say the only music that is played here is tinny dance music coming from mobile phones.

At least I managed a couple of test shots and will try again later when the place looks a bit better.
