Ouch!!

Quite immobile if you ask me!! Hiehiehie! Thx to R jnr who helped to make this possible! LuvU!!

The operation was a success so far, but the news a wee bit upsetting! Dr says in her many years of doing these ops, she has not seen something similar, she was surprised and I can tell that she's somewhat disturbed by what she saw! She found quite a messy business in the thumb joint, the bone as well as the tissue was a kind of jelly like substance of which se sent a sample for histology, we will hopefully know by the end of the week what exactly it is! She has vast experience and is highly qualified, but this is totally new to her, she discussed it in detail with C&R snr, and she admits that there are things in the medical world that are still to be discovered and for which cures must still be found and she has a gut feeling that this is one of them! Eisch, and here I am, really, and still, believing that I am a very healthy person!

C&R snr were quite worried yesterday, since the op was supposed to be done in an hour, an took 2.5 hours in the end, since dr. Nicci had to try to get rid of all the damaged tissue before she could start rebuilding the two little joints. She is an absolutely brilliant surgeon and, to top it all, she is a people's person! Such a pleasant lovely lady! I thank the Lord for C who insisted on taking me to her after she did some research on orthopaedic surgeons specialising in hand surgery!

I will backblip for yesterday at a later stage, C and R jnr has pics, but I am too drowsy, and somewhat in pain now, I just want to go to bed now! ;-)
