Don't tell the farmer..

Came across hay bale surfing recently. Key points seem to be choice of field for the 'roll', avoidance of cliffs and a friend, called a 'bale spring', to get the bale rolling whilst you stand on top. A 'bale out' is when a surfer abandons his speedy ride, but my favourite is a 'wipe out' when the unfortunate surfer gets run over!
