I'm Still Here

Holy crap. It's been almost a month since I've posted. What a slacker. I've really managed to get distracted. You'd think with the long Alaska days I'd have time to be creative, have fun, and get stuff done. I'll take the excuse that seasonal allergies have been kicking my ass the last month. Since I last bothered to check in with blip:
-We visited in-laws in Ohio and celebrated our nephew's high school graduation.
-Calico was accepted into the Anchorage Youth Symphony
-We took on a new colleague at work who I happen to know but haven't seen in 10 years. We got now work done the first week as we were talking too much.
-I took the plunge and treated my self to a new car. I've been following the news of this special edition and when I saw it in the flesh as it were, I had to nab it. A purely irrational hedonistic purchase. If you can't guess, here's the link.
