Handwashing

Long visit to NW Trek Wildlife Park today, nr Eatonville. Great place - we came here last time we were in the State and happily it lived up to our memories. There're loads of animals to look at in enclosures and a huge free-roaming space (for herbivores) that you take a tram tour around. I'm still uncomfortable with seeing big animals in enclosures (big cats, bears, birds) but they do do a good educational job here, at least.

The buffalo is mainly here as an excuse for a favourite joke:

Q: What's the difference between a buffalo and a bison?

A: (MUST be delivered in a Wolverhampton* accent): You can't wash yer 'ands in a buffalo.

If you're very lucky I may tell the kipper tie one another time.
