Not that straight

This building on Brännerigatan (Distillery street), Södermalm, always makes us smile as we pass by.

It was built in the 18th century and first used as a brewery. Later on it was a distillery and then a hospital. Maybe the builders were payed with beer instead of money?

The houses were turned into flats and artist's studios in the first half of the 20th century.

Tonight we'll be listening to a choir concert with a Shakespeare theme (Z used to be in that choir). Have a great Sunday night!
