Two bridges and a temp

The old train bridge Årstabron or Östra Årstabron from 1929 (between South Island and the mainland), is finally getting a well-deserved repair. It's such a beautiful bridge, but looks very worn out by now. In the foreground you can see the new train bridge, and a temporary bridge used by the builders.

In a Swedish/Danish film (Freud leaving home) one of the characters was living in one of the towers. Very bohemian...but the view must be stunning from up there through that big circular window!

It's Z's birthday today, so we took a nice long walk in the afternoon. The weather was superb, if you compare to the last couple of days with rain and strong winds ... We almost saw the sun... :-)
