What a day. I missed read my class schedule today and I got up earlier than I needed to. By the way that the schedule was organized I thought the first thing on the left of the list was Monday, so I got up about two hours before the 8:30 class. Just about when I was going to leave the house, I double checked my schedule and it said "mercredi" which means Wednesday. I groaned and felt so stupid about misreading my schedule. Since my next class was supposed to be at 1:30pm, I went back to sleep.

When 12:30-1:00pm came around, I made my way to campus and I went first to the Centre de Californie office. I stayed there a couple minutes and I then went to my next class. I made it the location where my class was and the doors where closed and locked. I panicked and I looked for a teacher or somebody with some authority and I asked him where the class could be. He told me that maybe the professor hadn't arrived yet and that I should just wait a bit longer, so I did. It was 1:35 and nothing. I looked at my schedule again and it said "du 26/01/09 au...." meaning that class starts on Jan. 26. AHH! Today was just not my day. With two class mishaps, I was just ready to call it a day.

I walked around campus a bit and I found some other Californians. I followed them around and we ended up spending the rest of the day with each other. It was fun. We went to the Science Po (political science) part of campus and then we went to downtown Bordeaux. We crossed the river, which I had not done yet, and we had dinner. Aside, from the school troubles I had today, it was fun hanging out with some fellow Californians.

In this photo, I found a vintage looking phone in that café/brasserie we had dinner in. It seems like this is the second vintage thing I've photographed in Bordeaux. Here's the first one. Let's see if I can find anything else interesting.
