On the nest

Work to reclaim the old curling pond has ground to a halt as this girl has decided it's the best place to start a family.

Not only is she right in the centre of the old pond she's usually enthusiastically guarded by her hard case of a partner. He wasn't there this morning (maybe getting her some flowers for Mothers Day?) so I managed to get some photos. One of those occasions where the lack of a good zoom lens counted against getting a decent shot so this will have to do.
