Three in One

Yesterday's portrait was a mistake "click" because, yes, I had simply forgotten to turn off the flash, but the photo wasn't a mistake upload to Blip. I liked that it was a little obscure, a little mysterious, a little vague. I thought it would be a little less of me right in your face, but somewhat of a self-portrait. Some liked it and some not so much. So today . . .

by accident I happened to see my reflection in a vacant store front window while waiting for Mr. Fun to come out of the bank. That is when I thought I might continue with another style of self-portrait. I enjoy reflection writing -- I'm attracted to memoir, biography, and mostly non-fiction. So I suppose I could use this reflection photo with my students to discuss writing a memory, a reflection. So I place it here as another perspective of who I am.

Later we were in the supermarket when I noticed the balloon bouquet. I wished there were a way I could give them to beautifulblue and to drcraig for their celebration today. So I clicked not anticipating this would work and was pleased with the result. So again congratulations to all those celebrating today -- I hope that is lots of us because everyday has something worth celebrating. Does anyone agree?

Then finally the flowers -- well the two of us walked through the garden department of Home Depot this afternoon, so I clicked my way through the flowers (stealing blips of blossoms). So many lovely results, but the calla lilies won. I want to give those to any blipper who needs something naturally beautiful -- take them they are yours.

P.S. Continuing yesterday's learning review -- today I learned from picaday that an obscured self-portrait helps "to camouflage the wrinkles." That's a lesson I don't want to forget. Tomorrow I hope to learn something new.
