Forest poppy

The forest poppy, Hylomecon japonica, was amazing in the evening sun.

We finished the stone stairs that we started on last weekend, in the back of our allotment garden, and started to prepare a place for the mini pond.

It rained quite a lot during the night - very much needed after a very dry April and early May.
