Afternoon star

Driving home this afternoon the sky was full of Little Fluffy Clouds so I decided to go out and take photos of them.

After a small disaster where I thought I had left my phone at work, almost got back onto the motorway and then spotted it lying in the footwell of the passenger seat and detoured quickly back towards home rather than Bury, I went mooching around the forest paths near us.

there is something deeply satisfying about lying down on the grass looking up at the sun!!!

Of all of the shots, this post processed one was one of my favourites ...the others are here

Just about to go out and get some tea for Corin for when he gets back from Sunderland. Can't wait to have him back home - been rattling around here since Monday without him and I don't like it one little bit. Particularly as every evening he has sounded a little more sad and lonely at being there by himself.

Off out tomorrow night - James is staying at my step-sister's house, whilst Corin and I go to one of my friend's wedding anniversary party - and I am the official photographer. Batteries are charges, lenses cleaned, memory cards ready to go....I am looking forward to the party, but I have some trepidation about being the photographer.

Any hints gratefully received :-)
