After the deluge

I managed to time my trip into work this evening so that the heavens opened just before was due to change busses. I got of the Queensferry bus and had to walk 20 yards down to the traffic lights, cross the road then walk another ten yards to the bus shelter I needed. In that time I nearly got soaked to the skin. I would have got completely drenched if I hadn't managed to dive out the way of a wall of water produced when a bus went flying through the huge puddle that had formed in the gutter.

I did get a few shots of the rain bouncing off the pavement which came out OK and showed the force it was coming down with, but when I saw the colour of the sky behind the big gas tank at Granton on my arrival at work I knew that had to be todays blip.

Also, for any Edinburgh residents who were thinking of heading to Costco after yesterdays blip Roz's mum said I should point out that the cards weren't actually on display and she had to ask at customer services for them. Cheers Sally.
