The Gem

Today a need to say a very special thank you and pay tribute to this beautiful lady in my blip. She is, in more ways than one, one of a kind and gifted in many ways.

For more than ten years she has graced our lives with her joyous nature, her lovely spirit, steadfastness and in many more ways she is a beautiful person.

She loves and cares for her children like only a mother can and her house is a home where love abounds. Scrumptious meals tell of her love to prepare food for her family.

Despite a full time career, she never complains of being tired.

For the past few years, she has been studying for a degree in Marketing and Business Management of which she passed all of her exams with distinction. She is currently busy with her last year of study and I know that when the time comes, she will finish this last hurdle with flying colours.
Studying is done in the early hours of the morning ...

She is the only daughter-in-law that I will ever have since in my brood of four, I have only one son. I count myself blessed to have this wonderful person as part of our family.

This striking painting of her was done by her father, and I think that he did a wonderful job in capturing her laughing eyes and beautiful features.

She is a gem and we love her very much - no other words to describe her.
