Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

Red Velvet

These beauties are just outside the window where we eat most of our meals. As the light changes throughout the day, so does their texture and color. My cheapie camera turns most red objects to orange, so this one won the selection of the day because very little orange appeared. Red velvet is the best description of this blossom . . . just a couple days and it will be gone.

I have not acccomplished much today, so if there is someone out there measuring . . . I get an F in accomplishment. But I'll just take that F and turn it into fun, frivilous, fascinating, fanciful, and fabulous. Because today was most enjoyable. Sure some tasks were here waiting to be done, but I didn't do them, so therefore the F. Can you tell I am having fun with this.

The "Prom Princesses" were quite popular yesterday. I am so glad I took numerous photos of them. Looking at them takes me into the land of wondering . . . where they all went and all the fun they had. From the UK the question was asked, "What is a prom?" Well, "In the United States and Canada, a prom, short for promenade, is a formal (black tie) dance, or gathering of high school students. It is typically held at the end of junior and/or senior year. ..." more can be learned here.

Tomorrow is Mother's Day here in the States.
Good night from Southern California.
