More Leaves

I guess my entry from yesterday was a home run. Thanks for all the great comments. My Slant inspiration came late in my shooting session around that lake. I didn't even appreciate how good it would turn out until I brought it up on the good old Mac. I guess I would call that an opportunistic blip.

Last night I got a big dose of reality as to how fast K is growing up. I went to pick her up from her high school homecoming dance. I'll give credit to the vice principal as the chaperoning of the dance was excellent. Regardless, seeing her milling about with all the activity among her friends all dressed to the nines looking so grown up was tough for greying Dad.

I know the youth these days are bashed a lot, but K and her friends are a great bunch of kids.

I also had a great pang of hope for the future after seeing Jaxter's homecoming blip for son Paul. Check it out.
