Love in a Cold Climate

Slow day trying to catch up on some sleep, and getting our moving van booked. In the evening it was the Brownies end of year beach party. It started raining just after we turned the barbies on. Happily, some folk were better prepared than me and had umbrellas. The girls didn't seem to mind - I suppose the rain is no wetter than the sea - but it was a shame that the only rain we have had for about 3 weeks had to come in that one hour period!

After a quick shower I was off out again (it's a real social whirl down here...) as a friend had organised a leaving do for me. It was with the folk from the Parent Council at school, so we mostly set the world to rights.

I've not quite achieved what I set out to achieve with this photo. But it was either this or a soggy sausage.
