Ready for departure

This butterfly, that is. I just got home so I'm not ready for departure yet. It seems fitting that since I'm backblipping this you get to see the back of a butterfly.

I took a gazillion shots of butterflies today. They're all enjoying the summer lilac near my front door. That plant wasn't there when I bought the house back in 2006 and I didn't put it there either. It just came up and we decided to keep it. Or rather, I'm a lazy gardener and that's how it became so big that we could actually see it is a lilac. After that we decided to keep it...

Off to bed now; it's awfully late. Sorry for the lack of commenting; normal service just might return next week. Tomorrow (wait a minute... that's today) we will celebrate my dad's birthday. Need ... sleep ... now!
