Desperation Sunset

It was a relatively slow day at work today. There was a late flurry of activity that kept myself and Chaos a little late. Besides productive work, Chaos and I solved a lot of the world's problems over lunch. We also covered national politics, workplace gossip, and more important subjects such as motorcycles, cameras, aviation, and firearms.

By the time we wrapped things up, I knew I was late for dinner at home. I thought I would pop off a shot of the mountains in the parking lot, but Chaos swung by and said "How often can you shoot Pioneer Peak before they get sick of it?". So I abandoned that tact.

On the way home, the sunset exploded into brilliance. Unfortunately, my favorite vantage point to capture it was in the opposite direction (exactly the route Chaos was using to go home). Regardless, I pulled over and snapped this one between the highway light posts. I'm hoping Chaos took advantage of the more desirable locale to shoot the same sunset.
