Meet Hone. He is a wonderful colleague. Kind, helpful and just a jolly nice bloke.

Today was Cup Day in Christchurch (a bit like Ascot for all those Brits out there). Staff members and 7th formers came to school togged up in their best race day clothes, hats and shoes. I thought Hone looked rather dapper in his get up.

I've just been to the movies to see 'La vie en rose' - Edith Piaf's life story. I would recommend it to anyone who likes Edith Piaf and/or French movies. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had no idea that she had such a hard life. I was accompanied by about 20 teenagers - well, it's nice to have friends - and I scored a poster for my classroom wall.
