Hagai the builder

Taking a coffee break at Mink's deli in Kensal Rise when I notice this old fashioned sign peeping through a blocked out window of the butchers shop across the road.

Taking a closer look and a couple of pics, I heard a disembodied voice saying 'It looks good doesn't it. We've found lots of these"

It was Hagai, brother of Doron who runs the deli I'd just been to.

Between them Doron and Hagai were responsible in beginning the rise in Kensal Rise. They invested in the deli when no one would touch the area with a barge pole. A few years later the area is buzzing with new cafe's shops and restaurants.
