The far side

Took my new winter cycling breeks out for a lunchtime birl today. Very cosy. Might have to get some winter gloves though as my finger tips were a bit chilly. Not to mention getting my own windproof jacket as the owner of this one will soon be noticing that I borrow it rather often.

It was rather a leisurely trip today. Stopped for a long chat with my neighbour and then spent too much time faffing about taking pictures of hairy ginger caterpillars crossing the road (all out of focus) then trying to get the timer to work to take this. (A lot of pics of me not quite making it to my bike on time.) Still, it kept me amused and provided a distraction from the tired legs.

Took this on the far side of our island. If you look carefully through the fenceposts you might be able to see the wind turbine that crops up in the view from our house every now and again. There's also a bit of a rainbow over there somewhere.
