View from South Island

Stockholm is built on 14 islands. We took a walk up to Mariaberget (Maria hill) and shot some afternoon views over Lake Mälaren towards the city. In the centre is the island Riddarholmen with the church Riddarholmskyrkan , to the left is Stockholm Central railway station with Klara church and to the right you can see a bit of the Old town with Storkyrkan (a church).

The five yellowy shining tall buildings in the background change colour in accordance with people's moods - an art project called "Emotional cities". This Sunday afternoon the general mood was apparently only moderately happy.
