Belly

I thought I'd have a go at this week's challenge: 'body parts' seeing how I'm having a random SP phase recently.

And so, here's my belly. It's not quite as flat or as firm as it used to be (I'm standing up as straight as I can and breathing in here), but it's served me well over the years. It appeared on blip in a more covered-up format last week.

In my 20s I was very confident of my figure but that confidence has slowly faded through my 30s, and it's interesting that by appearing lens-side on a few blips, I've started to feel more confident again.

I've aimed for 'arty' rather than 'pervy' with this photo, but if you're looking at this and thinking "Dear Lord woman! Put it away - no one wants to see that!" be thankful - be very thankful that for this challenge I went with this photo and didn't blip a page from one of my many anatomy/medical books left over from my student days.....
