While on my runs

Signal Box #2

While on my runs I occasionally go past these boxes full of electronics (I guess), which instead of being a ghastly dull green colour, sometimes graffiti'd, have been decorated. Whether it has been authorised or not I am unsure.

This one is at an intersection on Ponsonby Road, at the corner of the Western Park, which is one of my regular routes; going through the park is. I made a slight detour and a special point of photographing it this morning to go with my previous blips on this subject.

My interpretation of this painted box, is that the green represents the hills and valleys of the Auckland isthmus, and the red the lava flows from the many volcanic cones scattered across the isthmus.
