Tuesday 16 March 2010: Thames Gateway
Today was the first day of the proper excursion in the Thames Gateway. We heard a lot about GIS, remote sensing and all the developments in the Gateway, and all the challenges associated with it. This picture was taken at St Mary's Island, one of the former industrial sites redeveloped into a housing area. Impressive stuff actually.
Interesting first day it was. But my feet hurt from the slow walking!
