This update November, 2020

I grew up in New Jersey, USA, spent about ten years in New Mexico, and my wife and I lived in Portland, Oregon from 2001 to 2018. 


We all seem to be advancing our own personal bar by being here, so that's a very good reason to stay committed.
I am always excited with the Abstract Thursday Challenge, that I started on a lark, and thank Ingeborg for carrying the torch.

We both retired in May 2018 and moved to Braga, Portugal soon after. Looking forward to connecting more, expressing fun and joy, and an occasional vent.  

In December 2021 I was diagnosed with glioblastoma and had brain surgery. Long-term financial planning is on hold. Thank you to those who have wished me well. It is most heart-felt and appreciated.
