Bluebells and Nude Men!

Today I decided to make my annual visit to some local woods that have a very good display of bluebells. Last year Luke, who was recovering from his first knee surgery, and Murdoch came with me. Today I went on my own as poor Luke has been working so hard at finishing his dissertation the entire holiday and he could not afford the time off as it is due on Monday. It is 12000 words and is on Kafka, the title being something complicated and niche as all dissertations should be. He has been home for over a month and has hardly taken any time off to relax, and now he is going back to Durham tomorrow night. I will miss him, especially as this is the last time he will ever spend so much time at home again as after he graduates he will be moving into his own accommodation in London.

It had rained in the morning but the sun was now out and so I had a lovely time taking many photos, using a long telephoto lens to get good background compression, my macro lens for close ups, and my wide angle lens for the blue carpet effect. I was happily squatting down low next to the bluebells when all of a sudden I noticed an elderly man walking with a backpack on his back - but completely nude! I thought I was seeing things...then there was another, and another and then there was a group of about 20 of them, all nude, walking through the woods. Not a sight one sees every day, and to be honest, not what I would like to see when I am admiring the beauty of bluebells, having to contend with elderly body parts bobbing around in the breeze!!

When I got back to my car I spoke to an elderly couple who I realised had also seen this group of naked men - they were horrified! They said on the weekend they had brought their grandchildren to see the bluebells and they would have been very embarrassed if their grandchildren had seen these men! Oh well, it takes all types...Surrey was well known for its swingers parties in the 1970's .

I am feeling better today but I had to go buy some probiotics as I am suffering from side effects from the antibiotics. I also have terrible insomnia, I wonder if that can also be linked to antibiotics?
