Wednesday 2 March 2011: Ooooo! Sunshine!
The sun is shining! Can we light the barbecue?
Well, no, not really. In a couple of hours time when we're ready for tea the sun will have sunk, the patio will be in shade and the air will be cool. Better not get too excited just yet.
Good job, just an hour later at 3pm a very cold mist had settled in for the night. Nevermind, warmer days are on their way.
