Saturday 5 March 2011: Visiting Friends
It's another grey and chilly day, but 3yo and I managed to do a good circuit of the village this afternoon.
We started with the library, which is thankfully not one of the five that has has been recently listed for closure by Bradford City Council, then on to Hallcliffe Community Garden, where we played hide and seek and admired the crocuses. Next it was Jenny Lane playground, before heading over the playing fields to visit the donkeys, then back over the moor home.
The donkeys are always friendly, and appreciate a scratch on the nose.
